HYDERABAD: Army authorities have reported the theft of a cache of service weapons from a locked storage room on the Madras Regiment premises in the Hyderabad–Secunderabad Cantonment, prompting a police case at Bollarum and a parallel internal Army inquiry. The theft came to light on Sunday night, 31 August, when officials inspected the room and found its lock broken and firearms missing.
